Welcome to Our Supported Child Contact Centres
What is Supported Contact?

Supported contact at our centres encompasses the following key elements:

-
Impartiality: We uphold impartiality in all our interactions, ensuring fairness and equity for all parties involved.
-
Assistance Available: While our staff and volunteers are available to offer assistance and support, they do not engage in close observation, monitoring, or evaluation of individual contacts or conversations.
-
Group Setting: Families typically share communal spaces within our centres, providing a supportive environment for contact activities.
-
Encouragement for Trust Building: We encourage families to cultivate mutual trust and explore alternative venues for contact that may better suit their needs over time.
-
Confidentiality: Detailed reports are not provided to referrers, social workers, court welfare officers, solicitors, or the court unless there is a risk of harm to the child, parent, or centre worker. Attendance dates and times are the only recorded information.
-
Temporary Arrangement: It's important to acknowledge that the use of our centre is considered a temporary arrangement, subject to review after an agreed period of time.
